Specificity: This antibody is specific to CD5 antigen. It stains a cell surface
glycoprotein of 67 kDa present on 95% of thymocytes and 72% of peripheral
blood lymphocytes. CD5 is expressed by many T cell leukemias, lymphomas
and activated T cells. This antibody can be used for the detection of T cell acute
lymphocytic leukemias.
