Monoclonal Mouse Antibody to
Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Regulator (CFTR)
F, P/H
Catalog No.: Mob 378 Concentrated 1ml
Mob 378-05 Concentrated 0.5ml
Immunogen: BALB/C mice were immunized with recombinant protein encoding NBF2 domain of human CFTR.
Clone: M3A7
Isotype: IgG1
Positive Control: Pancreas
Cellular Localization: Cell membrane
Specificity: This antibody reacts with a protein of 165-170 kDa. Cystic fibrosis transmembrane regulator (CFTR) is composed of two membrane-spanning domains (MSD), two nucleotide-binding domains (NBD) and one R domain. It is structurally similar to multidrug resistance protein (Mdr1). CFTR is found in the apical membranes of epithelia within the pancreas, intestine, bile duct, sweat gland and male genital ducts. CFTR is a valuable marker of human pancreatic duct cell development and differentiation.
