Specificity: This antibody recognizes keratin polypeptide of 54 kDa. It stainsstrongly with non-squamous epithelium but does not stain squamous epithelium. It reacts with the sweat gland and ducts in the skin. Adenocarcinomas of the ovary, gastrointestinal tract, ductal carcinoma of breast, pancreas and bile ducts, stain positive with this antibody.
