Workflow
After lysis the DNA binds to the surface of the membrane and all impurities are efficiently removed by washing. Ultra-pure DNA is eluted directly in a low salt-buffer. The purified DNA is ready to use for subsequent downstream applications or can be stored at –20 °C:
- PCR applications
- hybridization
- genetic typing
- mutation analysis
- HLA typing
- forensic analysis
Alternatively, the PSP SalivaGene DNA Kit is available for the isolation of genomic DNA from SalivaGene stabilized saliva and swab samples.
