The OmniStor 2 Cabinet is specifically designed for using in conjunction with BluBox (supplied) and BlocStor 7. The major benefit of this innovative concept is that it eliminates the need for substantial investment in additional cabinets by using the low cost archive boxes for long-term storage.
In this way blocks or slides can be easily filed and re-accessed whenever required with minimum change to laboratory procedure. When regular referral is no longer necessary, the boxes can be simply lifted out of the drawers and transferred onto our cost effective RacStor shelving system or similar.
The OmniStor 2 in common with other cabinets in the range, are manufactured from corrosion-protected steel. All cabinets feature a safe angled drawer front that serves as the handle and makes it easier to read the identification labels.
The OmniStor 2 now incorporates the new “EasyLock” system essential when stacking cabinets. The “EasyLock” system allows secure locating of stacked cabinets without the removal of cabinet drawers, screw plates and fixings. Just simply slide and lock your cabinets on top of one another. This new and easy mechanism for safely stacking cabinets is available on the complete OmniStor range. Each drawer has a built in safety stop to prevent accidental removal.
