The Magnetic Immunology Staining Tray (M.I.S.T.) incorporates two magnetic strips, which retain microscope slides firmly in place during staining.

On completion of each staining cycle reaction stage, the tray can be turned on its side with one hand, whilst leaving the other hand free to wash off the reagent. This increases the consistency and reproducibility of reagent exposure times.

M.I.S.T. trays and lids are moulded in high quality PET for wide chemical resistance, specimen visibility, long term durability and cost effectiveness. To save space and increase handling efficiency, both the 8 and 12 slide versions are stackable. A built in absorbent strip ensures that humidity is maintained during incubation thereby reducing reagent loss. 

Technologists who require a low cost incubation/humidity chamber should consider using the Hopwood Tray feature. Each tray holds up to 5 slides supported on 2 rails with raised lugs to separate the slides from each other. Whereas the M.I.S.T is designed for long-term use the Hopwood tray is ideal for short-term or single use option.
