Overview
The Invisorb® DNA Tissue HTS 96 Kit is designed for rapid and convenient purification of genomic DNA from animal or human tissue samples and mammalian cells in 96 well format, optimized for use in a centrifuge.

Workflow
Direct lysis of tissue samples with Proteinase K avoids mechanical homogenization and reduces hands-on time. The lysis efficiency can be improved by permanent shaking of the 96-well plate during the lysis step. After removal of the unlysed material, the DNA is bound to the membrane of the filter plate under non-chaotropic conditions. Contaminants are removed by washing steps and pure DNA is eluted in a low-salt buffer.
The Invisorb DNA Tissue HTS 96 Kit has successfully been implemented on robotic workstations such as Freedom Evo from Tecan and is therefore suitable for automated DNA purification. The isolated genomic DNA is ready to use for subsequent downstream applications:
