The Invisorb® Spin DNA Extraction Kit provides a convenient tool for fast and efficient extraction and purification of DNA fragments directly from TAE and TBE agarose gels in the comfortable spin filter format. The purification procedure removes agarose, ethidium bromide and other impurities from the DNA sample.

Workflow

After gel solubilization DNA fragments from 80 bp up to 30 kb are bound to the membrane of the spin filter column. All impurities are removed very efficiently by a washing step. The DNA is eluted in as little as 20 μl low-salt buffer. The handling and the composition of the Invisorb Spin DNA Extraction Kit are optimized to guarantee high recovery and purity of the DNA fragments. The purified DNA fragments are ready to use for various downstream applications:
