Overview

The SalivaGene Swab Comfort is designed to collect and stabilize DNA from human oral samples. The DNA of swab samples is stable for at least 6 months at room temperature in the stabilization buffer. Long term storage of the sample should be done at – 20 °C.

After sample collection the swab tip is broken at the red breaking point into the stabilization buffer. During tube sealing the swab tip is screwed in the lid and can be easily removed from the tube. Due to the convenient packaging and easy handling the SalivaGene Swab Comfort is suitable for high sample numbers in high-throughput processing, e.g. for clinical studies.
