Overview

The Stool Collection Tube is designed for stool sample collection and stabilization using a liquid stabilization buffer. The DNA Stabilizer effects inactivation of DNases and prevents degradation of DNA, it preserves the microorganism titre and prelyses bacteria. 

The stabilized sample can be stored in the Stool Collection Tube during 3 months at room temperature. For the DNA extraction an aliquot may be used, the residual sample is stored for further extractions. For subsequent DNA extraction from stabilized stool samples we offer the PSP® Spin Stool DNA Basic Kit.
