Specificity: This antibody is specific to a 40 kDa protein, which is identified as thyroid transcription factor (TTF-1). TTF-1 is expressed in epithelial cells of the thyroid gland and lung. TTF-1 stains primary lung adenocarcinoma and small cellcarcinoma but does not stain colon and breast carcinoma.
