Histolene is a non-toxic clearing agent which can be used as a direct replacement for
Xylene and other traditional hazardous chemicals used in tissue processing.
Histolene is a terpene based product obtained from renewable biological resources
and is biodegradable. Histolene has a much higher Flash point than conventional cleaning
agents such as Xylene and therefore the risk is greatly reduced. Histolene is packed in a
shatterproof, wide neck PET bottle with tamper evident cap.
