INVIMAG TISSUE DNA MINI KIT/ KF96

Overview

The InviMag® Tissue DNA Mini Kit/ KF96 allows for rapid and economical purification of genomic DNA from tissue samples and mammalian cells using magnetic beads. The kit is designed for semi-automated preparation on the KingFisher 96 or KingFisher Flex 96 workstation.

Workflow

Besides the prefilling of all cavities all processing steps are performed by the robot. The tissue sample is lysed in an optimized lysis buffer containing Proteinase K. The cleared lysates are transferred to the subsequent automatic purification procedure. The DNA binds to magnetic particles, followed by washing steps and the final elution. The procedures are designed to avoid sample-to-sample cross contamination.

The purified DNA is ready to use for subsequent downstream applications or can be stored at –20 °C for subsequent use:
