INVITAQ DNA POLYMERASE

Overview

InviTaq DNA Polymerase provides robust PCR performance in a wide range of PCR applications without the need for time-consuming optimization. The enzyme has a highly processive 5’-3’ DNA polymerase activity with optimum activity achieved at 74 °C. The enzyme exhibits high thermal stability in withstanding prolonged incubations at elevated temperatures (95 °C).

Supplied Reaction Buffer

1) 10x NH4-Reaction Buffer (without MgCl2): 166 mM (NH4)2SO4, 670 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25 °C), 4.5 % Triton X-100, 2 mg/ml Gelatin

2) Magnesium stock solution: 25 mM MgCl2 (recommended range for final concentration: 1.0 mM - 4.0 mM)

InviTaq DNA Polymerase is used for standard PCR applications including:

• General PCR

• Cloning into TA vector systems

• Direct colony screening
