Now you can store your SupaMega blocks or slides in the same metal cabinet as your routine blocks or slides. We have added a versatile new
product to CellPath’s successful archiving range for histology and cytology tissue blocks and slides.
OmniStor SupaMega cabinets are manufactured from corrosion-protected steel. Safe angled drawer fronts serve as the handles and make it easier to read the identification labels. Each draw has a built in safety stop to prevent accidental removal. The OmniStor SupaMega is supplied with 1 standard sized drawer and 7 SupaMega sized drawers, each capable of housing 23 SupaMega processing cassettes or 257 SupaMega un-mounted microscope slides.
The real strength of this product is its modular nature, which allows the storage of SupaMega blocks and slides either separately or together in the same metal cabinet for the first time. This product can be provided as either individual drawers to replace two of the standard slide drawers in your OmniStor 15 cabinet, or as a unit with 7 drawers already in place. These drawers are fully interchangeable.
The OmniStor SupaMega is suitable for laboratories and archive stores. Overall size for the product is 126mm high x 484mm wide x 484mm deep and is compatible with standard 48 x 48cm systems
The OmniStor SupaMega incorporates the new “EasyLock” system which allows secure locating of stacked cabinets without the removal of cabinet drawers, screw plates and fixings. Just simply slide and lock your cabinets on top of one another. This new and easy mechanism for safely stacking cabinets is available on the complete OmniStor range.
