A new range of Biopsy Bags has been developed by CellPath in response to demand from histology laboratories for alternatives to BioWrap Paper and foam biopsy pads.
The bags, which are used to hold a biopsy sample during processing, are available in units of 1000, in four sizes –
40mm x 30mm, 50mm x 30mm, 75mm x 45mm and 95mm x 75mm.
An easy tear design allows for the fast retrieval of the sample after processing.
The Biopsy Bag is particularly useful for collecting endometrial samples from formalin as it can be used as a sieve.
The polyester bag has the added benefit of being resistant to acid, which is useful when processing very fine bone samples.
