Overview

The InviMag® Bisulfite Conversion Kit/ IG features a fully automated and reliable bisulfite treatment and conversion of cfDNA and genomic DNA from whole blood, cell cultures, tissue samples and FFPE slides for methylation analysis. The process is fully automated on the InviGenius® PLUS and can be combined with previous extraction workflows on the instrument.

Workflow

The InviMag Bisulfite Conversion Kit/ IG procedure comprises following steps:

• Fully automated sample transfer of cfDNA eluates into the bisulfite conversion process

• Denaturation and sulphonation in one step on the instrument

• Binding of the sulphonated DNA to the bead surface

• Washing and desulphonation of the bead bound DNA and elimination of ethanol

• Elution of converted DNA

The eluted DNA can be used in all downstream applications, including methylation-specific PCR, real-time PCR analysis, bisulfite sequencing etc.
