Overview
The InviMag® Blood DNA Mini Kit/ KF96 allows for rapid and economical purification of genomic DNA from blood, buffy coat, liquor and bone marrow using magnetic beads. It is designed for semi-automated preparation on the KingFisher 96 and Flex 96 workstations.

Workflow
Beside the pre-filling of all cavities all processing steps are performed by the robot. The blood sample is lysed in an optimized lysis buffer containing Proteinase K. The lysis step can be carried out direct on the platform at ambient temperature or outside on a thermomixer at 56°C while continuously shaking. In this case, the lysed samples are transferred onto the workstation to the subsequent automatic purification procedure based on magnetic beads. The DNA binds to magnetic particles, followed by washing steps and the final elution.
The purified DNA is ready to use for subsequent downstream applications or can be stored at –20 °C for subsequent use:
