INVIMAG UNIVERSAL KIT/ KF96

Overview

The InviMag® Universal Kit/ KF96 allows for rapid and economical purification of genomic, bacterial, viral DNA and viral RNA from a variety of clinical samples with sample volumes of up to 200 µl using magnetic beads. The kit is designed for semi-automated preparation on the KingFisher 96 and Flex 96 workstations.

The kits are also available without the KingFisher plastic.

Workflow

The sample is lysed in an optimized lysis buffer. The lysates are transferred to the subsequent automated purification procedure. The nucleic acids bind to magnetic particles, followed by washing steps and the final elution. The procedure requires minimal interaction by the user, allowing safe handling of potentially infectious samples. Sample cross-contamination and reagent cross-over is effectively eliminated. The isolated nucleic acids are ready to use for subsequent downstream applications:

• PCR and real-time PCR
