The Biopsy Kit contains 25 pre-filled specimen containers (20 or 60 ml), 25 improved CellSafe capsules and 25 transportation bags. The kit is designed to help the management and efficient running of your laboratory. All three products are organised in a user-friendly pack, which gives easy access in one location rather than having to order, stock and issue them separately.
The proven CellStor pot is pre-filled with a two-thirds fill of neutral buffered formalin or formal saline, which is ready to use. Each pot has a fully compliant CHIP II label which also doubles for specimen identification.
The blue CellSafe is perfect for the location of small biopsies. The product is also x-ray transparent for breast biopsy QA. The easy to use CellSafe fits into all standard-processing
cassettes and gives the biopsy total protection from transport damage.
The two-compartment Biohazard bag completes the product. Each kit contains instructions for use and a material safety data sheet (MSDS). The kit is also “LOT” numbered to assist stock rotation, bears an expiry date and is also shrink wrapped for tamper evidence.
